'Forest Dragon' Art Nouveau Print

aThis print was inspired by the work of Alphonse Mucha, one of the great Art Nouveau visionaries of the late 1800s. Art Nouveau's subject matter revolved heavily around depicting lots of pretty French ladies, reclining in gardens and looking out at the audience with a chaste seductiveness.

This dragon has none of that sexiness! It was an interesting challenge to borrow the Mucha aesthetic, but but make it work for scales, claws and leathery wings. I'm very happy with the results. This beautiful Forest Dragon is just as attractive as any Mucha girl in my book!
